Jesus stands at the door of your hearts
are you willing to let Him in
He is there to carry all your burdens
and to bring them all to an end
He will also mend your broken spirits
and turn your sadness, into joy
He will take your sorrows into His care
and you need not with Him be coy
He will mend and heal the torn up heart
and will make your life brand new
No wrong against you, will He ever hold
no matter if many or few
Never again will He will bring them up
for His forgiveness is sound and true
not one fault will be remembered
for whatever He says it's over and through
No childhood days, before you he'll bring
Not one teen year, will come to mind
and whatever happended, in your adult years
it will go pass Him, just like time
The many hardships you face in life
will not stop His love for you
No mistakes you've made, will keep Him from
giving you a chance to start anew
Now open your hearts and let Him in
and you will not have one regret
You see He has great things, instored for you
so no more, need you worry or fret
He will be that friend in the midnight hours
when you're, all alone and afraid
He will walk with you, in whatever the days
for His life for you He paid
So no cleaning up, to do on your own
and your hearts cry He will surly heed
Now there He stands, at your door
ready to give just what you need
No more tears, you'll have to shed
No more secrets you'll have to hide
and every spot of shame He'll wash away
and no longer you will have to cry
He is willing to enter and sup with you
so bid Him to your table
and don't you worry, He'll supply the food
for He truly, is willing and able

Great message. You could still go back and fix a few spelling errors, this way they don't distract from the mood or the message of the poem. It would also make reading it easier if you would add some breaks, divide your poem into verses. I think you can make this poem that much better. :) ~Norma
