A Mystery is something difficult to explain it is multi faceted, little is known about mysteries. Love is a mystery because no one can really give a concrete meaning or know all about love.
Many people, race, tribes have defined love in many ways. Some say to be in love is when the person you claim to love brings a smile to your face, some believe it is when the two of you cant think of anything but the beauty of each other’s physique. In the Greek context, love is said to be classified to five types but three is recognized that is the erotic love which is short lived with a high level of passion that is believed to be the course of it being short lived, the next is the phileotic love that is the love of give and take, both parties care about each other but not to the extent of being sacrificial. The third is the most important and unique kind of love-the Agape love which is sacrificial, giving and looks beyond faults.
In novels, love is described using terms or expressions like: ‘a skip of the heart’, ‘butterflies in the stomach’, ‘face blushes red as crimson’. Love can be said to be short or long.
Indeed love is a mystery! This is so because as each day pass by there is always a new definition for love. To be in love, to be loved, to want to love is all a complex equation to solve. I believe that even though we cannot fully comprehend what love is, we can say love is God this is not because of some religious favoritism but the fact that it is true if you are looking for love find God first and you will find an everlasting love that you will forever marvel at. With God there is always a new definition for love, for example, that I wake up each day is because God loves me and granted me the gift of grace to see another day, the smile or joy that comes from an answer to prayer really the fact that i am not even worth a thing yet God loves me now that is love!!!
