Faith

When I am in the mist of a storm,
I take the time out to pray,
Guidance is what I need in order to see my way,

I take hold of the Word of God,
I hold it in my hand,
A lamp unto my feet,light unto my path..

His words I hide in my heart,
when the winds begin to blow,
There is know other help I know.

I have found when I turn to my Lord,
He comforts me, He protects me from the enemy,
He leads me and guides me through the storm,
He holds my hand and He keeps me warm,
No harm will come to me, He keeps me safe,

I am so thankful for my Father,
Who watches over me,
I am never alone no matter where I am,
When I feel scared, He holds my hand.

When times get hard and the boats about to sink,
My Father comes and protects me,
He orders my steps along the way,
I will never take a step unless I pray,
I repeat to myself, there is no fear,
It is when we feel so alone,
Our Father is always near.
