This is not really a poem or song or anything, its just something that happened to me last night that I thought was really neat. This kind of thing has happened to me repeatedly, and I think it is a lesson in what saying YES to the Lord can do, especially when you are really tired and do not really want to say yes.....

I was driving to my sisters house, it was about 6:30. The drive took about 45 minutes. We were going to dinner, and I was really hungry adn tired, but the Lord told me to sing to Him, to get energised, and of course He loves to hear it. So I said "Ok, one song!". I always say one song, then it ends up being like 10 LOL. So I sang the first song, and felt good enough to sing another! The Lyrics to the song were-Jesus, Jesus, Your name is like honey, on my lips, your spirits like water to my soul, your word is a lamp unto my feet, Jesus I love you....All of the sudden I got a sweet taste, like honey in my mouth. It was strange, but wonderful, and I knew right away it was because I was singing that song about His name being like honey, and I sang the words Jesus....like 5, 6 times, throughout the song! Talk about POWER IN HIS NAME!! WOW. He satisfies us, even after an 8 hour work day, tired and hungry. All i had for lunch was a bit of soup and a small bag of chips :) He new my needs. I praised Him. He delivered. Sound familar? Well, keep looking for more of Gods awesome miracles, big and small! They happen everyday. Oh yeah, and when God tells you to sing to Him, sing to Him! You shall be blessed. I made a poster for my oom with these words on it-PRAISE-IT MAKES GOD SMILE, IT MAKES US STRONG!!

Those miracles really do happen every day, and when they do and you recognize them for what they are, they are stunning! I love to anticipate them because I know they will come--little signs of love from God. Just a wondering--what does LOL mean? I see it a lot and I have no idea what it is. Thanks! Beth

This is another great testimony of the almighty love and power of God, as he works his will in our lives.
I have had some amazing and unforgetable experiences, because I obeyed or trusted God.
