All Because of You

Depression had been my companion
Sorrow, my cousin
And I didn’t know about you
Or what You had done
My life was named confusion
From happiness I did run
And just when I was ready to succumb
A ray of light penetrated the hopelessness
Piercing the hurt that had made me numb
The darkness began to fade
And my face learned to smile again
My heart accepting new hope
A new life set to begin
All because of You
And because of what You did
