The mind that is stayed on God
Is anchored, immovable
It feeds daily on His Word
It knows He is always able
The mind that is stayed on God
Is never worried but prays
It never lets doubt on board
But stays in the Narrow Way
The mind that is stayed on God
Has His peace that is boundless
It has perspective that’s broad
Pleasing God is its business.
The mind that is stayed on God
Will grow, glow from strength to strength.
It uses the word like Moses’ rod.
It sees with the eyes of faith.
