Who knows the twist in store for us
The turns and bends
We embrace
As we race on
To board the train
On the journey to tomorrow

The fears and the doubt
Questions and answers
The naysayer and doubt sowers
The palpitations and panic attacks
The sleepless nights
With worry an ever present companion
Unsure of what lies ahead
As we journey into tomorrow

Alas! I cry
Why should I live in worry?
I don’t know tomorrow
But I’m in the hands of the
One who owns tomorrow

In blessing he has blessed me
With favour he has favoured me
Tomorrow I’ll awake a changed man
Looking worry in the eyes
With a conqueror’s smirk on my lips
Victory is mine
In God I trust
He has made my tomorrow one to live for.
