Poetry
One drop can make an ocean;
More can form a sea,
For each one finds the other
In the place of unity.
Mighty things will happen
When we work in one accord,
Working for the Kingdom
With our focus on the Lord.
Each one has a job to do;
None can stand alone.
Laborers for the harvest,
Destined for the throne.
Knowing that our work is true;
Never done in vain,
We press on past the trials
Disregarding pain.
This seems to be a noble task
But we can make the goal
If we all stick together
Like the mighty river flows.
It flows in one direction
Bringing healing to the land;
Restoring and refreshing
Giving hope to every man.
I watched the rain fall on the window pane and as it did, the drops would seek out another and become one as it traveled down the window. I felt as though the Lord was saying that together we can move whatever obstacle is on our way. We all need each other and as the Body of Christ we must function as a unit on order to see His will at work in this world. " Oh how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity." Amen!
