Watching from the Tower

We've come to this time in history, in such a miraculous and mysterious way. As a child, I marveled over the elderly. I used to love sitting at the knee of such an elderly person, listening to the events of their young lives.

Those before us, witnessed such astounding changes in daily life such as indoor plumbing, the automobile, television, the changes in communication, air travel. It seemed to me, a marvelous time to have lived.

Now I am 60 years old and realize that it is my generation that is blessed. At the age of 8, I remember the pastor speaking about a time when families would tear each other apart. I was taught there would come a time when children would murder their parents and parents would turn cold against their children, love would wax cold. It seemed such a distant impossibility. I remember asking my mother, "How can that be?" and her reply was, "If God says it's so then it will be so".

I yearned, at this early age, to be taught the things in the book of Revelations but no pastor ever undertook that task. It seemed to me they were afraid of it, for some reason. I later realized that it was because the books of both Daniel and Revelations were still a mystery. They were closed until the proper time.

I was in my 20's when at last the books began to open. Not only were the churches beginning to study them but also writers had begun explaining the meanings, or at least attempting to bring understanding.

The amazing thing, to me, is that I witnessed the opening of both those books, realizing where we stood in the scheme of history.

Then I began witnessing the most chilling of prophecy, love waxing cold. It had begun. As time went by, this development grew more vicious, selfishness was becoming the norm. Now today, parents no longer raise their children. Children seem to be more a body function than family.

We, the washed in the Blood, hold fast to the values of family and as we do, the crevice between the parallel worlds upon this earth, becomes deeper and wider. What was once shadowed in grey, has now become vividly obvious.

I witnessed the birthing of what the angel told Daniel was the 'All seeing eye'. It now resides over our heads, unseen but known and has already begun to connect all life to government powers.

Just as Daniel's angel prophecied, we run to and from and knowledge abounds. The book is open. What an amazing thing to witness in a lifetime.

Just as foretold, this generation has witnessed a complete turn about, good being called evil and evil being called good. There it is, right before our eyes.

Born around the time of Israels return to the home land and now we witness Jews returning, slowly emptying out of countries all over the world. The troubles of Israel advancing us through history.

I have witnessed all of it, all those things the Lord shared would be upon us as we approach the last day. All those things that left me with a gaping mouth, trying to fathom the things to come, I have now seen and walk in the midst.

Amazing is our Lord, truly the King of Kings. I sit in awe, realizing our precious Jesus gave us knowledge to prepare us for what was to come. Then, He protected His Word for all time. Even that is amazing, the Bible rescued from vicious attack of the enemy, all down through history. If He is so involved in protecting the Word for all to receive, then who are we to dispute that we have the true Word in our hands today?

Selah, last generation. Selah! Know that you truly are the last generation and be pleased in your Lord. Draw close to Him and He will draw close to you. Know that all is well, that history is drawing to its close. Know that while we still see through a glass darkly, it was darker still for Paul, as we are living in a time he could barely fathom. Know that you are living in a blessed time unmatched even by the beginning of the church.

Judy, there are things happening that reveal the increasing restlessness of Satan, for he knows his time is running out, and I believe soon. The Bible is being fulfilled right before our eyes. Let us look up, for our Lord may be coming anytime now.
