G Gene started ride’n in 72’.
C When his tour in Viet Nam was through
F He needed time alone to think.
G But he wasn’t one that needed to drink.

C Then one day, in 76’
F Gene went ride’n and he met this chick
C And his heart,
Finally started G beat’n.

C Chick’s old bike is a suicide shift,
F It’s pretty and red, and somebody said,
It’s a, C Ummmm
“Knuckle Head G Harley”.

G They rode a while try’n not to be hurried
C But then one day they up and got married.
F They’re two V twins called “Digger” and Smarty”
G Just ride’n on their vintage Harley

F Had to get a doctor, had to get there quick.
C The doctor said, hey Chick,
G Stop ride’n that Harley!

C So Gene and Chick put’em away,
F It was time to get right, and they started to pray.
C Their life was in pieces, so
They gave it G all C to Jesus!

G I heard’em pray and I have to say
C I healed up Chick that very day.
F I’ve saved their souls,
G And I gave’em a burden for Bikers.
