Let me be like a rich garden, Dear Lord, like a garden of your deep delight
Filled, with the fruits of your Spirit of Grace, ever blooming, with power so bright
Let me be watered, each day precious Lord, with your glory, so holy and true
Filled with compassion, your flower divine, blessing other’s each day so brand new

Pour fourth your light, on my tender heart Lord, so refreshing, so brilliantly clean
Fill me with the dew, of your presence secure, fighting evil with angel’s unseen
Rain on me showers of roses so soft, filled with fragrances, ever so sweet
Make me the garden, of your deep delight, springing forth midst the suffering heat

Make me a garden, so deeply supplied with your power to blossom away
Abundantly fruitful, creative and true, keep me close to you, day after day
Let me be beautiful, way deep within, though the darkness surrounds me with fright
Fill me with patience, with strength and with peace, as I live and I grow in my night

Make me a garden, a garden dear Lord, filled with fountains of life giving grace
Fill me with life, so that others might see your perfection and wondrous pure face
Shield me from creepies and dangerous weeds that devour and tempt me to sin
Spread, through my garden, forgiveness and hope, to the world through your Spirit within

Let me be like a glad garden Dear Lord, filled with songbirds, declaring your love
May I lead others to honor your name, as we join your glad chorus above
Let me be like a still garden O Lord, filled and calmed by your whispers of light
Deeply absorbing your life, strong and true, spreading peace in the darkness of night

Let me be like a fresh garden Dear Lord, filled with meadows of purple and blue
Refreshing others, inspiring them, to behold each kind mercy so new
A garden Dear Lord, of your deepest delight, bursting forth with triumphant arrays
Of a million new flowers and fruits of your love, always giving you glory and praise
