Tonight the world beings anew,
stars shining bright in the moon lit sky
showing envy upon the world.

Swing low sweet star
come down & let me ride away with you
let me race away from my sleeping chains
let me forget the past & shine with you high above the earth.

Fall down sweet star,
turn my world upside down
burn away everything that holds down my wings.

What’s it like, sweet star, looking down upon us now?
We must look quite silly to you,
running here & there to gain items that will only blow away in the wind.
What’s it like knowing the answers to our questions?
Knowing the meaning for our tears that water our lawns.

Tell me, sweet star, how long will it take?
How many breathes do I have to lose in order to gain you?

“Star light, star bright… the first star I’ve seen in awhile
I wish I may, I wish I might… ride away with you tonight.”
