Is your spiritual journey with Jesus on the right track?
Are you longing to have that joy in your life back?
If you have not been in God’s Word on a regular basis,
Then you need to evaluate where your time traces.

God is patient and longs to spend time with you.
But it hurts Him when you say you are busy, too.
All of us have the same number of hours in the day.
We need to set aside time, for it won’t happen any other way.

God knows what is in our heart.
He asks us to take the initiative and start.
Determine the amount of time you will spend.
Commit to making that a priority without end.

Consider following a Bible reading plan.
The Spirit reveals God’s Word, so it is understood by man.
Start with a small passage or a chapter a day.
Whatever method you choose, God will show you the way.

Don’t feel guilty if you miss a day or two.
Just start up again and know He is waiting for you.
It may not be easy at first to spend time with God alone.
But don’t give up; soon it will be that special time of your own.

We are all on this journey together, preparing us for heaven above.
Let’s encourage each other in this life long race and share His love.
By holding each other accountable, we can keep our focus on Him.
When you see another brother struggling, you can walk beside them.

You can depend on His Word to be true.
He always knows what is best for you.
You will see Him blessing you in so many ways,
As you trust in Him more through all your days.
