America weeps
She's on her knees.
Heartbroken she cries out
"God help us please!"

"Give wisdom to our president.
In freedom's fight , we'll not relent.
Founded on Your righteousness,
We need you now , dear Lord to bless."

"Forgive us for our wickedness.
We've walked in our own sinfulness.
Please come and heal our broken land;
Turn from wrath, Your holy Hand."

We ask You, Lord to comfort those
Who lost their loved ones : do not know
Were they lost or were they found.
Questions, tears; despair surround.

Grant us mercy in these days
As America together prays,
Amidst the rubble of her sorrows
She burns the flame of bright tomorrows.

She waves her banner gloriously
Over the brave; over the free.
God turn us back to days before.
God bless America once more.
