I am often amazed and humbled by the things that go on in this world. I am often ashamed of letting my natural reactions to these varied things dictate what I say about them.

"It can't be done!" "That will NEVER happen!" "I
can't!" "That'll be the day!" All these comments, and so many more I make. Because I live my life in such a positive manner, where in the world do all these negative comments come from?

They come because in any hasty reaction to any given situation, we all tend to be 'reactive' as opposed to 'proactive'. The word Never should be banished from the Christian vocabulary. When we
use words such as this, we forget, at least temporarily, just Who is in charge here.

I say, "There is no way!" And Jesus always replies, "Here is the way". It may take a while for me to slow myself down, but I always get this reply.

Where the world may not see any solution, we as Christians know that one is there. We may not see it yet, but we know it is there.

Jesus can do anything. When we were young children, most of us believed that our parents could do anything--they were the smartest people in the world. As we got older, the picture changed and we became aware that our parents were only trying to do what we are trying to do now--the best that we can. They really didn't have all the answers. We don't have all the answers either.

Saying these things are wrong. The God we serve and love is the God of miracles. He can do anything. He can take any situation and use it. He can take ANY person and use them.

Where we might say, "Oh, they'll never change!", God knows better. As long as there is life, there is hope. As long as there is hope, there's a possibility.

I don't have the right to say things like this. I say them when I am in torment over things I cannot control, and I say them without thinking. If I was thinking, I would know that with God, the impossible becomes possible. Since I know this, I must always have hope, even if I have almost convinced myself otherwise.

Because God never gives up, I can't give up either. Just because I can't see Him working doesn't mean He isn't.

God still does miracles.
