Hebrews 10:23
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; for he is faithful that promised.

I grew up hearing this story and would like to share it with you today.

There was a pastor who after service happened to notice that someone had left their Bible. Concerned that they may need it before the next service, he picked it up and began flipping through to find a name.

The first thing he noticed was the margins – throughout the Bible - were filled with the letters, TP.

His curiosity was peaked and decided he would return the Bible to the dear mother and ask her what TP meant.

The next morning he knocked on her door and was invited in. He told her he’d found she left her Bible and was sure she would need it. He then proceeded to tell her he’d noticed the letter’s TP had been written in the margins throughout the Bible and was interested as to what that meant.

She said something like this, “It is very simple, you see God is faithful and has never left or failed me through all these years. The letters TP simply means Tried and Proven.”

I am not sure of the origin of this story, but the core value is filled with TRUTH!

God is faithful! He performs His Word! For centuries His Word has been Tried and Proven!

Has He proven Himself in your life? Take a few moments and think about the many blessings He’s bestowed upon you and your family!

He is faithful to perform that which He promised! His Word will not return void! He is not man that He can lie! He is the same yesterday, today and FOREVER MORE!

His Word has been tried and proven – over and over and over again!

Heavenly Father, how wonderful You are! Words seem so inadequate when trying to describe Your goodness, mercy, loving kindness and love! Thank You for proving Yourself and Your love! If you never did another thing, You’ve already done more than enough! We love you today, In Jesus Name, AMEN
