Pray for the wounded
“ Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ” Gal 6:2

There are a group of Christians in the church, which most people don’t know even existed. I am talking about victims of sexual abuse.

Having been a victim of sexual abuse myself, I know the anger, depression, and guilt these people feel. I did learn one very important lesson.
IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT! You did not ask to be abused. It happened. Sin happens. Even to Christians. You did nothing to cause it to happen. It is one of the problems of living on this world. But until you are able to forgive the person who abused you, you can not fully receive all the blessings God has in store for you. If you want all that the Lord has in store for you pray this prayer:

Lord, I forgive (Insert his/her name) for what they did to me. I don’t want to be angry with him/her anymore, for this is not from you. I pray (Insert his/her name) may come to know you as I know you. Heal my heart and remove the pain this abuse has caused. In Jesus name.
