Laura, my DAUGHTER! I feel really foolish. Somehow, when I stumbled across this, I thought it was written by Laura, my SISTER. I guess I thought is was so good it could not have been written by a 14-year old. Forgive me. I do like it, though! Love you.

This is precious. I like all your poems, but this is my favorite; mostly because it expresses my own thoughts toward you. Your face often passes before my mind, and I am filled with regret. I regret that we were not closer when we were closer; and now, wishing to be closer, we are so far apart. Maybe someday I'll find a way to fly haf-way around the world to see you again.
