One Final Thing
Grace

Romans 16:20
And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you, Amen.

II Corinthians 12:9a
And he said unto me, my grace is sufficient for thee, for my strength is made perfect in weakness.

Grace means courteous good will, favor of God, state of receiving divine saving and strengthening influence, confess honor and dignity in, finesse, polish, poise, culture, etiquette, good manners, decency, tact, kindness, and skill.

There are distinguished characteristics of grace; adorning, decorating, beautifying, enhancing, distinguishing, and honoring the gift, talent, and ability of, forgiveness, mercy, compassion, and charity.

Bruise means to injure, injury appearing at, discoloration of the skin similar damage on a fruit, inflict a bruise on, hurt mentally, be susceptible to; hurt, contusion, bleach, blemish, or harm.

Shall is expressing the future tense, emphatic intention expressing strong assertion or command rather that a wish

God went to great lengths to supply us with what we his children need. He created us, gave us a free will to obey or disobey his Word, sent his Son Jesus to redeem us back to him when we disobeyed him because of his grace, and it was unmerited favor given to us because we really do not deserve it. He gave us his grace so that we may be strengthened in our weaknesses. If we realize that Jesus has already put Satan under our feet, we will keep him bruised there and continue to walk with God.

He knew that we needed help to ward off the temptations of Satan. Satan is come to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came tat we would have eternal life with our Father God. Because we do not keep him where Jesus put him. We allow him to wreak havoc in our lives. We go through undue changes and stress in our walk with God. Satan is a defeated foe and as soon as we realize he is, we can walk in victory. We can only obtain a victorious life in Christ.
In our text Paul reminded us of this victory in Christ that we have. The underlying imagery is found in Genesis 3:15. In freeing themselves from those who was causing division and marring the unity of the church, they would be experiencing what Jesus would ultimately experience when he finally defeat Satan for all eternity. We can live in society today when we realize what Jesus has done for us in his coming.

Saving Grace
Through his coming he has given us grace. Just as in the Old Testament he allowed the Israelites to go from strength to strength down a path with the shining light that shines more and more to a perfect peaceful day. He provided the Israelites with what they needed. In the New Testament he left us the principles of the doctrine of Christ; that we may go on to perfection. We were admonished in I Peter 2:1 to lay aside all malice and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speaking. We should desire the sincere milk of the word as new born babies, that we can grow; and that is to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, for it is by grace that we are saved through faith and not we ourselves. Grace is a gift from God to us, and God alone effects our Salvation.

God’s Grace is Sufficient
Although we are dead to sin and trespasses, are children of wrath by nature, we are therefore unable to help ourselves out of our miserable sin state. So we need God’s grace and this grace that saves us is the affection that God had for us which came through his mercy, love and kindness. He loves us in spite of our sin although he has a horror of sin. This is the cause of his desire to reclaim us with his saving grace, which exists in God together with his holiness and righteousness. The scripture merely says that the gospels proclaim saving grace has made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure. Although we are saved, we are never to propitiate God against whom we have sinned but to have a disposition in God to be favorable to them, or show the gracious kindness that God has shown to you. Grace is unmerited or undeserved on our part and is some thing that we cannot buy. We can embrace grace only through the complete evangelical plan of salvation from repentance over sin through conversion, justification, sanctification, preservation in faith, to glorification, and lastly salvation.

Established Grace
Grace that has been set permanently is established grace. This grace is something that man cannot cooperate with before faith in Christ has been created because it does not operate with resistance. Grace works with the Holy Spirit to win the heart of man by its persuasive power in sanctifying their life. His life is now renewed in Christ not by any power of his own self but by the power of the new spiritual life which saving grace has created in him. This grace gives us power over the enemy, by the manifestation of his presence and operation in us. Otherwise our salvation would be by works, which scripturally is forbidden in Ephesians 2:8, for by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is a gift of God. Jesus has achieved permanent acceptance for us with God.

Now that Jesus has found, created, and formed an alliance with God for us, we have to keep Satan bound in our lives. Bound means limitation, restriction, boundaries, outside of permitted areas, beyond what is acceptable limits, extent, confines, margin, restrict, confine, enclose, surround, off limits, forbidden; prohibited, prescribed, inadmissible, unacceptable, moving in a specified direction. God has called us to peace. He has given us power to tread upon our adversaries. We are not our own adversary, but Satan, the Devil is. So why do we abuse God’s grace by fighting among ourselves?

Never before has the Christian church been in a war with each other as it is now. The Devil have put limits and limitations on what we can and cannot do in this would we live in and we are so busy putting each other, denomination, beliefs and doctrines down, we have forgotten who it is that has saved us and all he has done to achieve it that we sleep through what the Devil is really portraying. It is time that we unify the divisions among us. It is all about God and he will not ask you if your denomination you were apart of, was believers or not, but if you are a believer. This walk is a personal relationship. Our religious affiliation is not in question but rather how well do you obey God’s word. Did you live, walk, and talk the gospel of Jesus Christ? It is time out for all these other things that take precedence in our lives that only come to divide and conquer. It is time of a real truce between God’s people that we may keep Satan bound under our feet and serve God in spirit and in truth. It is time out for just speaking good words and fair speeches that deceive the hearts of the simple. The Devil has taken the division he has caused in the church and sneakily marked us.

There are many divisions and offences that are contrary to the doctrine that we have learned. We need to avoid even the very mention of each others doctrines other than that Jesus came to the world to redeem us back to God and gave us grace to strengthen us. Our obedience to God’s word is the test that God wants mirrored to mankind. As you obey others will see God in you and want his love also. It takes more than just good and simple concerning evil. Satan is evil. Evil backward is live and live is something Satan does not want us to do. Therefore if we do not live the Word, we become evil. You see Satan lived with God, but he was kicked out of Heaven because he tried even there to live like a dog. He lived to become evil and he will cause us to lie and die as he has by painting a dim view of what is real. All of the disobedient Angels became demons or fallen Angels and they had to get out of Heaven also. Now they reside under your feet. If they had the opportunity to go to Heaven again, they would not play around with the Devil.

Just as then Satan is still telling man a lie and they are dying by the wayside, enlarging the Kingdom of Satan. No longer do we keep or restrict his entrance, but we welcome him in with extended open arms. He wants mankind to die by embracing his plan. Everything associated with the Devil bring forth death, but God has given us grace freely that we may live again.
