..for Your is the Kingdom and the power and the glory.
Remember this model prayer started in a worshipful mode; ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name’. We are now rapping it up in the same mode- in worship and adoration. What a fitting close- like a circle that is now complete.
We are reechoing in conclusion that His is the Kingdom which He is building through us; His is the power to do and undo as He pleases; His is the power to provide as Jehovah Jireh; His is glory as He fulfils His promises, demonstrates His faithfulness and goodness, for ever and ever. Amen- so be it.
What a model prayer with a lot to learn from. Without a doubt, what I have tried to show above does not exhaust the richness of this prayer. As you meditate on this prayer phrase by phrase, the eyes of your spiritual eyes will be enlightened to other myriads of truth and gem of the Word of God- the Word of life. Other scriptures will confirm each phrase and take you to a higher and deeper level in your prayer life.
May the Lord do this for you and much, much more, in Jesus’ name.
