True Repentance!

We thank you Lord that we come to you
Just as we are
We are grateful God,
As you represent Justice
You do not judge from afar
But Lord we know as we come to you
Holy Spirit begins to convict
And you seek every man to repent for himself
From all unrighteousness,
And from all that by your Word is wrong

Your way, your truth and your life are Holy
Yet you tarry with us – Thank you God
For we often walk at human pace,
We often walk very slowly
When we are in need of deliverance
You see the desire and the torment
Of one who wants to be free
You look beyond effect and see the cause
You know where we are coming from
That sin is at the core of every man
And you give us the power to overcome!
As we repent and surrender
You indwell in us and
You become ‘Greater in me than me’
You are our Redeemer
You are our Redemption
Your Awesome name we shall forever mention

True repentance is your absolute requirement
None can side step this step
It is the beginning of transformation
That will leave mouths open wide
In disbelief,
As the born again worship you in adoration
True repentance is a turning away
From all that is not of God
And as true worshipers
We all must repent
And true repentance will last a lifetime
Because we are all too aware
Of the subtle snare
It is a thin line and many do fall
The best advise is to draw close to God and His ways
We do good to remember the words of Apostle Paul

Nevertheless,
We are confident when we repent
He is able to keep us from falling
He is the Good Shepherd
Not a liberal
He sets the standard and administers our calling
Let us humble ourselves
And seek true repentance
Daily we cometh and seek His mercies
He will freely forgive
And give purpose to live
Do not fear, He will be with you every minute,
In the midnight hour, He is your power
He will be your Rock and your bright and morning Star

True repentance will change your story
It will change my story
It will change our story
And it will take us from glory to glory!
You will only fail and break His heart
If you do not accept His Gift of forgiveness
It does not matter if you are churched or not
Or if your culture was non-stop clubbing
Or doing all that is benevolent
Or just having a laugh and fun
It is your time to stand up
And be totally surrendered
To the Almighty
True Repentance is coolest thing in your life
That you will ever and That can ever be done
