Faith
God Gave Me
God gave me
Gladness and peace
Covering me in His grace
That I may live to seek His face.
God filled me with joy
Unlike any other
teaching me to be
A faithful mother.
God showed me a rainbow
That dazzles His sky
Directing my eyes
To the Heavens on high.

That I did not deserve

Oh, Julie, my soul longs for Him. Great work.
Julie, my friend, you have just gone and written a very lovely poem; one that is so pleasing and delightful to read. Surely the Holy Spirit was filling you with inspiration as you penned this. I find myself forgetting to attempt to write new poems often, because I get so caught up in reading what my FaithWriter friends are writing. Such a delight to come here for refreshing words prasing God. Thanks, and keep on writing as the Lord dictates. Thomas
