IN MOMENTS LIKE THIS……

When dark clouds gather and a storm is brewing , the closest refuge becomes a haven of safety.
In Psalms 91 vs 2 , we learn that God is our refuge and fortress, in him we will trust.

Life dishes out a menu with a variety and when we as believers face the fiery furnace of many trials,
God's word promises us safety and security.I think of the song , "As the deer pantheth for the waters "
And I know now that in God's presence that is where we are safe.When the deer runs away from its predator, it longs for the water because in the water , it loses it scent and no longer , can the predator trace it.

This is how God's presence is for us . In his presence , close to his throne , resting in his arms , we find refuge where no weapon formed against us will prosper . In the book of Jonah we read -"When my soul faint within me, I remembered the Lord and I called upon him. This journey here on earth is a winding one and though the road may seem long, you are not alone, Jesus promises to align your footsteps and allow him to take your hand and lead you through.

In this world , you will have trouble , but take heart , Jesus ahs overcome this world for you.Maybe today you a facing an enormous mountain , you feel like giving up and there is no hope for you, let me reassure you that the Lord will not allow you more than you can handle. As the fire becomes hotter , God is only going to allow the cords that keep you bound to burn. In the midst of the fire , the son if God is waiting to deliver you , just be patient.

Probably , your heart has been wounded , and this wound brings you to this chapter of hurt whenever you recall this situation . Stand firm and move yourself from grieving to healing. Dwelling in the past will keep you in defeat.
The former things have passed away .God wants to do something new in your life.Allow a new day to dawn in your life because Jesus promises you that the glory of the latter house will be greater than the former.

Are you ready to step into the latter victory . If you are weak, God wants to strengthen you , if you are burdened God wants to lift up your burdens, if you are troubled ,God wants to give you peace,if you are weary , God wants to give you rest. Take your weak hands and place it in the hands of the mighty God, robed in splendour and reign in glory. When the spirit of heaviness is upon you, put on the garment of praise.

His loving arms are waiting to receive you.His ears are not heavy that he won't hear you and his shoulders are always ready to comfort you.
Whatever your trial , whatever your pain , Jesus your Saviour will come through again.
