A soft touch
A warm hug
A shed tear
As she wipes your eyes
One who believes
In you
When no one else does
A cook
A nurse
A laundry woman
The one that takes the time to hear
When no one wants to listen

A mother is
The one who still
Stands by you
When everyone else is gone
The one who never
Gives up on you
When everyone else has
The one to tell you
What you need to hear
Even when you don't want to listen
