I realize that this is a removal from my regular format but I pray it will be received well. This is a long open letter to those in the Gay community in our region, as well as to anyone else who has not the New Life and Spirit available from our Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ. This letter is from the heart and soul and spirit of a local Minister on behalf of the Lord God our Heavenly Father and our Creator, and the Lord Jesus the Christ the Son of Man and the Son of God. You will never get from me any more of a negative response about being a sinner than anyone else. Salvation through Jesus Christ is available to you or anyone else that may be what the Bible calls a “whosoever will’.

But this treatise is not just simply about being gay or of some other sexually oriented issue. But I am using that issue as a jumping off point because of how strongly I feel about those in that lifestyle. This letter encompasses a far larger and more common picture of which I’ll explain. If you reading this are of the “gay” orientation, you are not the worst of the worst of sinners. There are a great number of other choices and conduct and behavioral things that people are involved in that are equally as harmful and dangerous to your spiritual future. Have Hope. And if there is anyone of you reading this that feels as though this is speaking to you almost personally, and you have always wished to hear something like this then e-mail me, even anonymously, and I’ll gladly talk to you and help you find the true New Life being offered to you.

I’m sure that most all of you have heard the standard Evangelical Fundamentalist Christian perspectives on the topic and issue of being “Gay”, homosexual, lesbian, etc. and so on. I have somewhat of a different kind of view than my peers and contemporaries [ as usual for me ] and I have prayed long and hard to arrive at this unique way of expressing these views and values. Please don’t tune me out. Please hear me out. You who are reading this may be gay yourself or you may know of someone who is. Please pass this on. I believe that even though this particular view I’m sharing is somewhat different and unique, it is the truth and I believe it will encourage many of you to look into it further. I have felt divinely urged to give this message.

It’s very important at this juncture to mention a few things about the Bible. That’s because I will be referring to it as the source of the truth about God and his intended design and ways for all the earth and humankind. Assuming in this discourse that there not only is a supreme Creator and God over all that is, but that he cares about us enough to insure that everything written in it was inspired by Him. An all powerful and a loving God and Father of all Creation wanted us to have His Word and was more than capable and willing to make sure it happened. Even the Bible says that God moved upon and used the minds and hearts and hands and eyes of his devoted followers to pen precisely what he wanted penned, through the means of divine “inspiration”. All because he wanted to make absolutely sure that we all were very clear as to what God was like, what he expected, what he has planned, etc. and so on. All because he cares so much and is so serious about what he is going to do someday and wants us to be a part of it.

Also there is the matter of prophecies and predictions. The Bible has already proven itself to be a totally reliable source of prophecies and predictions of the future. There are a great many that have already been fulfilled, exactly as they were prophesied, including the re-emergence of the Nation of Israel in 1948, and many more events yet to happen. One of those is that in the very last days of humankind and the earth, and evil, there will be a new Heavens and a new Earth made wherein only righteousness and holiness, [as God defines that in his word] will reign and rule supreme. And that the City of God in Heaven now, will be brought down to rest upon the Earth forever. Even our other deadly enemies, death, hell, and the grave will be cast out into eternal torment forever. There are a number of places in the Bible where God has indicated what people will be like in the New Earth and even what there won’t be any of. The pattern for this New Beginning will not be after the likeness of Adam or Eve but after the likeness of Jesus Christ and His Church, likened unto his bride in certain respects. Jesus was made by the Father to be the New Standard Bearer, the new bar height to aspire to. Jesus himself said that everyone who makes it to that day, just like of those already in Heaven, will have no gender or sexual orientation at all. Whoever was married on the earth won’t be in Heaven or on the New Earth. No one will function and operate at all as we do now down here. And not just in the area of sexual orientation but in every area of living and relating to one another and to God. He absolutely must and will certainly have everything the way he originally designed and intended and prefers. And none of that includes any of the choices, or decisions, or urges, or cravings of any human being, ever. That’s why we can only get to heaven wearing the robe of Jesus’ righteousness and justified by His shed Blood. Period. Not even any of the good we have mixed together with the bad will be even allowed as evidence or as kudos.


Now about someone being “born gay”. We’ve all heard it said that “God made me this way and God don’t make junk”. Or, “because God made me this way then this is the way I must be”. Or, “how can being gay be a sin if God made me this way”. I personally believe that someone can be born with a predisposition to be gay. Not all who are gay, but many. [ Take those who are born with two sets of hormones and/or two sets of reproductive organs. They almost always end up being very puzzled, confused, and frustrated about their sexuality from early childhood. ] The others were tempted by their original defective unholy urges and the devil’s involvement, and said yes to that old nature. But God has made it clear in His Word that He wants all to come to him and be changed and transformed so as to not be anything at all like we were born originally, but to be Born Again. To start over as beings and start over with our Creator. If the first birth was God made or God ordained then why change. Why send Jesus to die for us to be able to get to Heaven and be something other than we were here? The entire Bible, especially the New Testament, is filled with the Doctrines and Divine Mandates telling us to resist everything from our fallen natural carnal sinful earthly nature from birth. [ Not just sexual things but all things that are not Godly, or Holy, or Christlike.] Because it’s not what God had in mind when he made Humankind in the first place, nor is it at all like he is wanting us all to be like in the New Earth and Life to come. If we are supposed to be gay because our nature is to be so then why are we told to resist those, even run from them, and get God to help us to be set free and establish a new Christlike nature?

They’re right about one thing, “God don’t make junk”. Going by what we know of what God designed and intended in the first place and what he is designing and intending in the New Beginning, that gives us one of the big reasons and rationale that God did not make you or I with the particular sexual orientation we now have, nor did he make us in any other way besides that. It is Not God’s doing or fault for anyone being born the way they are and have been since Adam. The sinful genetic pool that comes all the way from Adam and Eve is to blame, Not God. That even refers to someone’s personality, temperament, disposition, and so forth. He even wants to change those things?. Yes. Our personalities, our character, our ethics, our morals, or values, and everything about us is to made all new and changed and different than even we can imagine. It doesn’t matter if someone can prove that they were born gay or born anything else. Even if they can prove that they weren’t and that they just gave in to the temptation as they were growing up to choose the gay orientation. It doesn’t matter. All that matters now is are we going to prepare ourselves, as the Bible says, for the New Beginning where there will be no more of anything as it is now. Only to be Holy and Righteous and Christlike. Period.

Now wait a minute, don’t shut me out yet. The Creator is certainly responsible for the original pattern physically, and spiritually speaking but because of the curse in the Garden of Eden from Mankind’s disobedience, the original pattern was corrupted and made defective. The physical and the spiritual genetics were damaged and corrupted. Jesus at one point in his earthly journey accused certain people of having the devil as their Father. Even though he does not appear to be referring to the physical aspect, to be told that the devil has that much participation in our lives puts us immediately at a far distance from where God is going to be going with this world someday. This also is why Jesus said to Nicodemus, a very devout and pious man who was very righteous in his day, that even he must be Born Again of the Spirit and the Blood and the Word of God through Jesus.

Listen my friend, God did NOT make you or anyone to be gay, or both, or even meanspirited, or lazy, or diseased, or crippled, or whatever other defect from the original design. We have all inherited the collective sum from the original genetic pair along with all defective probabilities. Now because God has not intervened in someone’s life to prevent them from being born a certain way that is considered wrong or odd or bad, etc., that does not mean he “Intended” for them to be that way. And because God can know whatever he wants to about what is in a persons life before they grow up he certainly may [and he has done so many times] choose to make use of those attributes or characteristics to accomplish a higher spiritual purpose. Although there does not appear to be anything redeemable from the attributes or characteristics of someone being gay, or an alcoholic, or a gambler, etc. Maybe I’m wrong about that. We’ll see someday won’t we. But one higher purpose can be especially that of trying to woo the person to the kind of relationship with God that will help him to get to that New Beginning someday and become someone who hungers and thirsts only for holiness and righteousness. .

But this is not simply a matter of needing a spacesuit now to exist in outer space, or at the bottom of the ocean. It’s not just simply putting on something new and different and better in the next life. Being gay, or even lazy, or mean, or bad tempered, or whatever, is also SIN. What makes them sinful? The Bible makes it clear that anything we choose to do or become involved in, whether we mean to or not, that is NOT according to the original design and intent of God as stated in His Word, or even what will be coming later on in the New Earth, is a Sin. And an act or thought or word of Sin is a choice. But it also calls all those things unholy, unclean, twisted, [as from the original plan] and unrighteous and on and on. What makes being gay and giving in to those urges an unholy, unclean, unrighteous thing? Because in God’s eyes we could have chosen to resist those things and cry out for his help, As Long As It Would Take. And yet chose not to. To him that means in part that the individual wanted and liked what they were doing, even though God said NO. But we will not be allowed to choose Jesus after we have passed away from here. Once a person enters eternity they enter the place where everything is eternal and “fixed”.

Now here’s where some that are gay or whatever other things say that they didn’t choose to be that way, that their nature was supposed to be “gay” and it chose them. But that person gave into the natural urges and cravings, and inclinations, etc. that maybe they were born with and could have chosen NOT to do so and turn to the Lord for help. And again, if God made you the way you are then he would not hold it against you for giving in to your destiny. Yet the Bible is clear that he has held literally EveryThing against us that is not part of the Holy Pattern.

There are a great many natural and physical urges that people seem to be pre-disposed to that are successfully resisted all the time. I seem to have been born with a serious addictive behavior problem, as well as Obsessive Compulsive tendencies and at one time seriously struggled with alcoholism and drug abuse and numerous other things. It took me starting a relationship with the Lord my God and the subsequent crying out to him, [literally] for some time to finally get freed by a Ministry touch from him. But none of that happened until I was willing to admit that my giving in to the urges and desires and cravings that I believed I could not help or stop, instead of crying out to God for help, [as long as it would take], were choices called Sin and Unacceptable to God and to Heaven and the new future. And again the Bible is clear that God himself offers the divine intervention and supernatural power to resist and overcome whatever we are assaulted with from the world, or the flesh, or the devil. There are just too many testimonies that prove that a natural urge and instinct to be gay or anything else that is not what God originally designed and intended, is very possible. Yes, very difficult for many and certainly not easy, but very possible, achievable, and believable. Sorry for being so redundant but I must belabor these points.

Just as God not only has the right to design and intend specific plans for his creation, but his nemesis and sworn enemy the devil also has plans for everyone of us human beings. And his plans do not include spending eternity with the Creator. The devil, who at one time was an Angel created by God, and tried a hostile take over of the throne of God, in order to be able to be equal with God and independently make his own decisions, was thrown out and judgment was passed on him that one day he would be stripped of his angelic and spiritual powers and be sent for all eternity to a place of torment. He desperately tried for years to get me to give in to the temptation to choose the gay lifestyle and thanks to the intervention of Jesus the devil was not successful. The Bible also says that anyone of us who do not want to participate in the New Beginning, started by Jesus Christ, and repent of having allowed ourselves to be something that God says is not in his original plan, [among other things as well] will be sent to the same place as the devil.
