Little money, little love,
Yet I can leave, and go above;
My heart is full, it is the truth;
Jesus became my final proof;

I’m needing nothing, ‘cept food and clothing
Something for gut, something for robing;
It’s only for my time here on this earth;
I’m bound in love, of infinite mirth;

My eyes are kept inside my head;
My spirit feeds on living bread;
My feet are pointed toward where He would have me;
They’re not tied down, and I am so free;

No, I do not see where I am going,
But I am sure of Him Who’s all-knowing;
I just make a call to my Lord Master,
I learn the next step He sends me after;

“Where is the way I should go next?”
And not for long, am I kept vexed;
When I am weak, I seek my first Passion,
Soon He sends power, in divine fashion;

I may seem lost, a little confused;
May find me somewhat tattered and bruised;
It’s for a moment, then I’ll be alright;
And I come back, walking upright;

Then I will walk onward, e’er toward Him,
Leaving behind the old me and sin;
I’ll trade my sorrow for joy infinite;
I’ve come to peace; by His feet I sit.
