I was reading a devotional the other day.
It can bring us all encouragement today.
The way we view our life is ninety percent attitude.
A great place to start is to look at your gratitude.

If this is an area you struggle with or lack,
The following is a way to get back on track.
Make a list and reflect on God’s attributes from A to Z.
Use as many letters as you can and notice what you see.

You will have a new outlook on your life again.
Let me suggest a sample list, as a place to begin.
God is awesome, blameless, compassionate, and so much more.
Count your blessings and see what God has in store.

Look at your attitude from God’s point of view.
The impact made on your world depends upon you.
We can all make a difference before it is too late.
The result would be less violence, destruction, and hate.

By living each day ready for His return,
We will be prepared at every turn.
He will come like a thief in the night.
Make sure your heart, with Him, is right.

Colossians 4:2 (NASB)
Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving.

Matthew 24:44 (NIV)
So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect Him.
