“My Desire”

I want to know you Lord
To worship at your feet
Respecting who you are
Trusting all you do

I want to see you Lord
In all of your majesty and splendor
To marvel at your works
As they reflect your glory

I want to hear you Lord
Amidst life’s constant chatter
Because you provide the answers
To all of life’s hard questions

I want to follow you Lord
No matter where you lead
Because you are the way
To life and hope and peace

I want to love you Lord
Because love is the greatest gift
To be given to the one
Who is so worthy
