I remember when you were a little girl with your little curly cues and your beautiful little smile.

I remember when you and your brother would put on little productions and how mad you would get when he'd forget his lines or decided to wear his costume on his head. You always took it very seriously. Then we'd all laugh ourselves silly.

I remember carrying you around on my shoulders wondering what you'd be like when you got big, praying that God would keep you under His watchful eye and make you into something that would please Him. He sure has done that.

I can remember watching you sing hymns with Grandma, riding your bike for the first time, the look on your face Christmas morning, Easter egg hunts, helping Mom in the kitchen, the sound of your little bare feet running around the house trying to convince the dog to wear something that you'd made, you were always making something.

I can remember chasing "you" around trying to get you in the bathtub.

I can remember your little temper tantrums and how silly you looked, I can remember skipping rocks in the water and looking for crawdads, bedtime prayers, Saturday morning cartoons, brushing your hair, I remember it all.

These things you never forget. Your mom and I are very proud of you honey. I can't imagine what life would have been like without you. Thank you for your portion in my life. I'm so glad that we're friends.
