Strength to say, “Yes!” to You;
Might to speak, “No!” to me;
Obedience my joyful victory!

You show me much, this path with You;
The greatest which is greatly You;
Defiant heart, my sorrow’s sting;
Still I stand for You, my King.

Your love transcends unrequited desire,
Your joy buffers disappointment’s fire;
Before Your eyes, I am content;
Your peace is my warm, soothing tent.

My desire sleeps, awaits Your call,
For You are my All in all;
Take me now, I will be glad;
Not knowing her love, let others be sad.

My love’s awake for You alone,
My gift to You, set b’fore Your throne.

I’m the world’s fool,
Saying, “I so love You.”
Yet why not take this rest,
Loving that which is my Best?
In my heart, there is no other,
Only You, my Jesus,
My Lordly Brother!
