THE CURIOUS KITTEN

This is my kitten
His name is patches
He loves to climb
And sometimes scratches

He plays in boxes
And under beds too
He chews on things
And hides in shoes

At Easter time
He plays with eggs
Runs around
And climbs up legs

At Halloween
He makes a scare
Arches his back
And points his hair

At Christmas time
He climbed our tree
Broke some bulbs
And spilt some tea

He is very curious
And loves to play
He plays all night
And sleeps all day

He is very fast
And plays with toys
Snuggles with girls
And jumps on boys

If you come to visit
At our house
You will find no bugs
You will find no mouse

He is so silly
He is so fun
He loves to jump
He loves to run

Goodbye for now
Please come again
And play with Patches
Your curious friend
