(Gen8:1-14)

13 Abraham looked up and there in a thicket he saw a ram caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son. 14 So Abraham called that place The LORD Will Provide. And to this day it is said, "On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided." V13-14

God makes provision before the problem arises
But you need His wisdom to find the solution.

God is not any man’s debtor. Jesus was the Lamb slain before the foundation world In other words, even before Adam fell God made a provision for the redemption of man. He knew in advance that man would fall. And when man fell God gave a preview of what would happen to redeem man. (Gen 3:15)

Just as He made a provision for salvation, so he makes provision regarding every other need we may have. You will be tried, sometimes sorely, and so will I, so that we would learn to trust Him more and become less attached to what we have in hand.
He wants us to have things but does not want things to have us.

So today, if He wants what you have, know that he has something better for you.


Let us pray:
Father, I surrender all I have to you. There is no good thing I have that you did not give.
You said you would supply all I need according to your glorious riches in Christ Jesus. I believe you to keep your word. In Jesus’ Name.
