My heart was broken and burdens seemed to weigh me down,
The days began to grow longer,
Time appeared to be growing stronger,
And my house was torn apart.

I lifted my hands into the air,
I prayed to the Father,
For somebody said he brings peace.

He calmed a storm in the raging sea,
When Peter denied Him, He had sympathy,
When Jonah disobeyed,
He kept Him safe,
Job lost all he had.
He raised up his voice and said,
Blessed be the name of the Lord.
If God brought peace to these three,
He will bring peace to me.

When all hope seems lost,
Life brings more trials and tribulations your way,
You can’t make it through the day,
He brings peace,
Just start to pray.

That broken heart,
When life is torn apart,
He brings peace.

When the devil seems to have your feet,
Every step you make,
Another problem, you can’t take.
My Father brings peace.

When health problems are in the mist,
Children are doing the opposite of what you taught,
The battle is not yours it’s the Lords.
The weapons may form,
They will even appear close,
Tell God about it,
He has a plan,
He will hold you in the palm of His hands.
