SEEK JESUS' FORGIVENESS
Clothed in un-righteousness, drenched in sin, I went before the cross of Jesus seeking forgiveness of mv sins
Unworthy to receive forgiveness I stood before Him with eyes closed and head bowed, there I pled my case.
"I am an un-righteous person O Lord, I have sinned in Your sight and have been a disobedient scoundrel, I fear I am lost and no not which way to turn."
With compassion in His voice He turned to me and said, "What would you have me do"?
In reply I cried, "Forgive me Lord for my transgressions against you. Many there are I knox-7. I am tired of living life my x«;ay. O Lord have mercy on one such as me." ,with this I stood in silence with fear of rejection inside.
Silently I waited, praying that Jesus would accept my plea and set me free from the sins that bound me.
Much to my delight Jesus did just that, without explanation He said to me, "As much as you have come to me with the truth in your heart, I forgive you. Go and sin no more".
The sinful ways of my past fell from me while I stood before the throne of God, at last I was free, free to follow Jesus.
With love in my heart for my fellowman I spread the word of God wherever I went, telling all to come to repentance and acknoxvledge that Jesus is Lord of lords and King of kings, telling them all who do this can receive forgiveness, regardless of their past sins.
For Jesus to forgive someone such as me and restore me to my rightful place in .His kingdom is no more than a miracle, if He will do /this for me, .then for sure He will do it for anyone who changes their ways and seeks Him.
All that Jesus asks of us in this world is to come to Him, confess our sins and turn our lives over to Him and He in return will grant•us eternal lif
