I have a bracelet that holds a special place in my heart. It’s gold with emerald green gem stones that represent my birthday.

It’s just a simple bracelet but in my eyes it’s worth more then all the diamonds in this world.
This bracelet was given to me by my precious aunt.

I guess one could say when she gave me this beautiful bracelet she and I were not aware that one day this bracelet would unite our hearts together in one moment in time.

My beautiful aunt was the diamond that sparkled in my heart. She had an angelic smile that was embraced in our souls and warmed our hearts with divine love.

Her husband and she were truly a match made in heaven, they were the definition of true love. They had two sons whom to my aunt were her most precious jewels here on earth.

She was quite younger than her husband.

In the beginning when my aunt and uncle met the family had some concern about my aunt caring for him,
in the winter years of his life because of there age difference, But life has a way of turning the hands of time.

My aunt became very ill and he in turn ended up caring for her and there was’nt anything in this whole earth that he wouldn’t do for her.

He helped her to the bathroom and shower he laughed when she laughed and when she cried from pain because it was too much to endure he cried with her, kissed her tears and gently held her hand.

The time arrived for her to leave this world and say goodbye, angels came to stand by her side and raised her sweet gentle spirit to heaven.

The pain in her body was finally cast away but the agonizing pain in the depths of my uncle’s heart was manifold.

There children are grown with wife’s and children of there own and though they were painfully overcome with such deep sorrow, they had love ones who could embrace them and console them tenderly.

But for my uncle she is all he had. She was the reason for waking up each and every morning.

The other day as I sat in front of my computer getting ready to type I started remembering of that beautiful day she handed me my bracelet.

I was engulfed in all my emotions and thoughts of that very special day, when suddenly the voice of my two year old distracts my thoughts and I’m mesmerize of what I see when I look down.

She gazes into my eyes and says “Here mommy for you” to my dismay she then hands me my bracelet which I had safely tucked away.

As I was enshrouded in a blanket of spiritual warmth, the phone rings It’s my sister with the sad news that my uncle my aunt’s husband is very ill and doctor’s are not giving him much hope that he will live much longer.

You see when my aunt died so did his spirit the other half of his heart was dancing with angels in heaven.

He has now reached the winter years of his life; angels wait for his last battle here on earth to surrender.
I know my aunt is waiting, just standing there by those beautiful golden gates in heaven

When the time comes for my uncle to stand face to face with Jesus, tears of sadness I will not cry.

My heart was embraced by an angel’s heavenly touch that day. The bracelet my aunt gave me is a constant reminder of God’s great love for us, and what love is supposed to be.

My bracelet will be passed down from generation to generation along with the story of an angel’s touch captured in that one moment in time. A miracle was born.
