Day by day I get nearer
Grandma prays everyday dont know why I cant hear-her
My back turned towards me in the mirror
Hope someday I come upon that sweet river
Look up into the deep blue sky
JESUS come on by
Only you who can buy
Back the soul that I sold
Shooked the hand of the wrong man
Should've known but LORD knows
On the cross he paid my fair-took
away my sins
New shoes no longer walking around bare-foot
now a new road begins
Now the sun's shining like it has never been.....
