A Day Without a Christian

Imagine a day without them
Those defenders of the Gospel
Their spirited singing of the hymn
Can you feel the gain?
Do you believe it possible?
That a day without them would be sane
Would they be missed?
These people chasing truth
Or would happiness persist?
Does the world know their worth?
Do they understand their motives?
Their relevance here on earth
There is unselfishness about them
When they follow the plan of rebirth
Food pantries are filled
Addictions are destroyed
Souls and hearts refilled
So I just can’t imagine a day
Nor even an hour
With their enduring love gone astray
These defenders of the Gospel
Are needed everyday
