THE REV. WAYNE F. WINTERS ...

I met Rev. Wayne on www.ChristianLinks.com wherein he has posted many many of his wonderful poems. On this Website, too, he recently started posting his poetry.

I had made a few greeting cards for him with a picture of him that he sent me. After I made the card on my color copier ... as I was looking at it, in the flash made by the camera, you can see a Dove (Holy Spirit) on Rev. Wayne's forehead. And above his head, it looked like there was a heart.

Here's a poem I wrote awhile ago about my dear friend:

THE WORLD'S TRUE FRIEND

Speechless is what we are ...
readers from near and far.
The words of our talented
Rev. Wayne F. Winters
help to heal and wash away
our wrongs with Holy God's healing rain
taking away so much of our pain.
This amazing man inspires me so much
with Creator God's majestic touch.

350+ poems he has penned
and freely shares them with every friend.
This world he's trying to desperately mend.
His poems are like sunshine
reading between his every line.
And he gives great great hope
and much much more ...
... trying to make us worthy ...
to receive what God has in store
... begging Holy God's blessings to
downpour.

Father God is using this fine gentleman
in so many ways ... seen and unseen.

Thank you kindly, my good friend, for
adding such sweetness to my life.
In these days of great great strife ...
you are treasured by many. As I think of
you, I remember my little rings ...
a diamond, an emerald, a pearl, a ruby,
a topaz, and a favorite Tri-Color Gold one.
You have shown me your love for ...
... our REAL Tri-Color Gold ...
The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.

To God be all the glory forever and ever
and forevermore. Alleluia! Amen!

The reason I used the words about my
rings is because Rev. Wayne is a
retired jeweler. He was ailing for
several years and spent those years
writing poetry, not even able to leave
his room. He was on oxygen 24/7.

One of his favorite sayings that he
closed each of his poems with is:

"All that is necessary for the forces
of evil to win the world is for
enough good men to do nothing."
-(Emund Burke)

I salute you, Rev. Wayne F. Winters,
for being one of the good men who has
done something BIG and SPECIAL for
Holy God's World.
