~ The Pages of Life ~
The pages of life are ever turning-
Each day a new sentence born,
Some pages are crisp and new-
While others are faded and torn.
Each chapter tells of our story-
Pages of life and lessons learned,
Some we never wanted written-
While others we hated to turn.
Each page has its own meaning-
They were written by God long ago,
Even though we help in the wording-
His guidance helps what they show.
For He is The Author and Finisher-
Of the chapters of faith in our lives,
And if we give him all of our heart-
Our endings will all turn out right…
