Laughter slowly fades
Haunting rhapsody
Distant bay of jackal hordes
Disrupts this tranquil night
Topics of discussion
Around radioactive campfires
Invisible lifeline
Bristles with cosmic energy
Ever changing gales
Windswept face of dooms infection
Disaster area descendents
Folklore now authentic
Crisp retorts to complications
Laconic problem child
My heart bleeds for their welfare
Prudence fades in confusions cloak
Crunchy conifer ground cover
Crackles beneath bruised bare feet
Akin to broken bones
Crusty dream dusted eyes
Bleary from insomnias curse
Scattered urban sprawl
Chronology’s dizzy advancement
Prayers for restored prosperity
The cul-du sac
Now sterile
Pecuniary wasteland
Chilling tales of global war
Ethereal in nature
Kindness conquers hatreds snare
For those who seek His solace
