END OF THE TRAIL
Hollow eyes of ancient age
Blemished nonchalance
Motley dreams forsaken
Etched in facial quagmire fissures
Days of glory past
Celibate artificial intelligence
Beguiled hibernation
Haunts him in morose irony
Once so proud and vibrant
Mirthful super nova
Reduced to callow blackmail
Pacifistic plebeian
Impetus caustic tears
Moist with inorganic agony
Stash of hells inferno
Stokes his mental illness
He fumbles toward the sotto voce
Shattered ego’s terminal diagnosis
Swathe of mercurial resplendence
Sanitariums bondage
His hero has succumbed to fear
Heinous purgatory
Forever lost in chutzpah’s flux
Egotistic asphyxiation
No sawbones can redeem him now
His marbles
Lost in toto
