My Testimony as a child

When I was 5 years old, my Daddy was gone. We didn't know where he was or even if he was alive or dead. Momma worked to raise us. She has always been a Christian since I can remember. Anyway, Momma always told me and my 2 brothers (Ben- 4 and Eddie- 11) that if we had bread and peanut butter in the house not to say we had nothing to eat. This one Sunday, we had nothing to fix for supper. Momma was to get paid the next morning. We told noone we had nothing. Suppertime came and Momma called us all to the table. Then she asked us to say the blessing. Ben said, "But Momma, we have no food". Momma put her faith on the line and said, "it is OK. Just say the blessing." We did and we had no sooner said "Amen" than there was a knock at the door. There stood 3 ladies we had never seen before and never saw again (angels) with a box of fully prepared hot and ready to set on the table food . . . from rolls and chicken to an apple pie for desert. Just enough for the one meal. That is what God can do. I am 43 now and I tell this story everywhere I go so people will know that God hasn't changed. He is still all we need. Our Saviour, our provider, our healer and anything else we need!!! He truly loves us! God bless you all is my prayer.
