Sweet Child
It’s time to rest your
Weary head, sweet child
For you will see
That Jesus guides you
Through the night
And all eternity.
His angels watch and
Pray for you
And brush away your fear
For you are very precious
Sweet child
To all that hold you dear.
And when your sleepy
Eyes awake
To a new joyful day
You’ll know that Jesus
Walks with you
In all your time at play.
