Sketchy visionary
Acid damage psychosis
Reclusive gene of exclusive endowment
Eccentric gifted flair
Although we never met
I know you intimately
Together we watched Emily play
Beseeched the gates of dawn
Our demons
Pranced on common ground
Tripping to life’s inconsistencies
Sordid hallucinations
Fantastic world of black light freak
You crossed the river in defiance
My children kept me on the shore
Your cries for help
Unanswered
Your genius
So misunderstood
Sublime articulation
Sacred oath to complex individualism
Enigma avant-garde
Composer’s brilliant daydream
Forever torched in my mind
The voyeurs shall haunt you no longer
Rest now
Weary minstrel
Shine on
