I saw a bird today
Just a moment it was the bird and I
He on that perch so high above
Me below watching his movements
Then in a flash he flew away


In the moments I pondered things
About life and movements of men
About the way things are
About that lone figure watching all things below
Apart, yet informed
Separate but yet watching below
Looking around the horizon


Life is fragmentary, aloof, and short
Like a breath then it is gone
As the flowers who fill the fields
Bright and full of glory today
Tomorrow they are gone
Such is the way of life


Life and the way things are
Troubles and turmoil
Destinies and livelihoods
Wars and rumors of war
Life and death
Rich and Poor
All are the same when the grave calls


Watchman who are watching
Sent by God to proclaim his word
Sent by the Lord to bring his warning
Men who seem aloof, apart from reality
Yet, they are watching, listening and warning
At times they are all alone as the maintain their post
Other times they drift away on the wind to another station
At all times subject to the Lord for what they do
Then in a moment, they are gone, on the pages of history
Who heard their warnings?
Who heeded the call?
Who really listened?
Who will remember their name?


Silent on the wind, their names hang
No one remembers, no one cares
They wag their heads and nod the answer
Yes, the watchman was aloof
Yes, the watchman was crazy
Yes, he said too many bitter things
Then, society drifts away


Suddenly in the dawn another voice is heard
It is the cry of another watchman
He is on the Wall, high above on his post
Who put him there?
Why did he come?
Why does he say these things?
Who is he?
No one knows nor understands?
Yet, the Lord who sent another watchman does!
Listen O society of Men, I am warning you of that day
The day of the Watchman
That day he warns about
Listen to him, for he carries my message on the wind
Through Eternities Pages and to the end of time
To all people, everywhere, with all his might


His message is simple,
His words are clear,
His aim is to please me, The Lord of Hosts
His words to you this day are:
The Lord reigns in Zion, Praise ye the Lord
The Lord reigns in the Earth, Praise ye the Lord
Prepare ye your hearts for the day of the Lord
Prepare and repent of your ways
Hearken to His Spirit which says
Come unto me, Saith the Lord Jesus Christ
Come unto Messiah Yeshua
Come and be Still before me
Come and seek my Face
So that in the Day of judgment you will be hid


Prepare ye the way of the Lord
Prepare his paths before you
Spread the branches
Break out the oil
Annoint thy God o Zion
Thy King cometh
Upon the winds
Upon the thrones of God
To set straight paths for thee
To stop wickedness and establish righteousness

Praise ye the Lord....Bless His name in all the Earth.....
