Faith and Corresponding Action
Faith without corresponding action is dead. Whilst expressing out faith in the Lord, He requires us do what is practical. And so having prayed intensely, had an agreement with Pastor Eli, had an attitude of altitude and faith and making the vow, it was still important for Hannah to sleep with her husband for the child to come. (1Sam1:19) Besides it was not automatic. She still had to wait for some time but God did not disappoint her.

Are you barren- physically, emotionally, financially, relationally or otherwise? “It came to pass…when the time was come” Your time will come too. It shall come to pass for you too.
Hannah’ God is your God. He remains the same, yesterday, today and forever. Those who put their trust in Him are not put to shame. Job said:: ‘I will wait until my change comes. .Your God and my God is the unchanging Changer. He is faithful; able to do exceeding abundantly far beyond your wildest dreams.
20Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
21Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. Eph3:20-21KJV

Refuse to be angry with Him, but humble your self in spite of what you’re going through. Look to Jesus the author and Finisher of your faith. Pray for those who taunt you or appear to rub it in. Pray for those who have misunderstood you and called you a religious freak. Rejoice with those who are prospering and rejoicing. Celebrate with them. Refuse any second best designed for you to give up your dream. Keep worshipping the Lord. In fact, step up your worship and prayer, perhaps with fasting or with a vow as the Lord leads you. Let there be a corresponding action to the faith you express in the Lord. Do the practical thing expected of you while you wait.

Finally we do not have all the answers to why some people are healed quickly or receive quickly while some others delay for long. True we have our part to play but God is sovereign and has a pathway he intends to take us. We cannot skip any grade. We cannot hurry Him. All we need to do is to cooperate with Him and know the season of our visitation by maximizing that moment. We must not play God and point the finger on others who are yet to receive and say they have no faith, but pray for them to realise their season and make the most of it. We must not taunt them or flaunt what we have before them as if we are God or their time will not come. Whatever we have received, it is by the grace of God.. It is not because of our goodness but because of His goodness, Hid grace and mercy.

For those of you who are waiting, God will meet you at your point of need. Your provocation will birth promotion. At the appointed time, the vision will burst forth and not lie, linger or delay a single day. Weeping may endure for the night but joy is coming in the morning. The righteous may fall seven times but he rises again. This shall be your portion. in Jesus ‘ name. He will raise you up from the dunghill and seat you among princes. He will give you a breakthrough that will surpass that achieved by those who taunted you and flaunted their achievements before you. The barren shall become like a well watered garden, bring forth her fruit in due season. You will not only bring forth fruit, but much fruit so that your heavenly Father will be glorified.



Let us pray
Mighty God, Maker of Heaven and earth, Who desires that I not only bear fruit but bear much fruit, I come to You this day acknowledging that I am barren, contrary to your word. I admit that only You can make a difference to my life. It is not by might nor by power but by Your Spirit. It is your desire, O Lord, that I bear much fruit to glorify You.
Help me, Lord, to recognise my season, the time of your visitation and to make the most of it.
Without You I can do nothing. I look unto Jesus, the author and the Finisher of my faith who for the joy set before Him endured the Cross. Help me, Lord, to focus on You and not on the circumstances. I pray for those who taunt me with their breakthrough, that you will cause them to be sensitive. Forgive them, Lord, for they do not know what they do .I rejoice with them in their prosperity, knowing that You are a faithful God and will not forget or abandon me. It was You who said: in Isa41:10: Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
1But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.
2When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee isa43:1-2



You remembered Hannah and You remain the same. You remembered Joseph and You have not changed. You will remember me. My case is ever before you. I take comfort in Your word which says:
15 "Can a mother forget the baby at her breast
and have no compassion on the child she has borne?
Though she may forget,
I will not forget you! Isa49:15


Your word said: those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of Our God. They will bring forth fruit in their old age. They will remain fresh and green, proclaiming: the Lord is upright and there is no injustice in Him. (Ps92:12-15) There is no injustice in You. There is nothing too hard for You. I will wait until my change comes(Job14:14). If did not withhold Jesus but delivered Him up for me how will you not with Him also freely give all things? Rom8:32
Your word said that those who put their trust in the Lord shall not be put to shame. Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They will mount up with wings as the eagle’s they will run and not grow weary or become tire, they will walk and not faint. Thou shalt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You because he trusts in you. Great peace have they that know your law.(Isa26:3, -40:28-31)
This s my confidence: I have a God who never fails, a miracle working God, who said ‘eye has not seen, ear has not heard neither has it entered into the heart of man what
God has prepared for those who love him.(1Cor2:9) In Jesus’ name , amen.
Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; Neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame; For you will forget the shame of your youth, And will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymoreIsa 54:4
You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the LORD your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shameJoel2 :26
As it is written: “ Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and rock of offense,And whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” Rom9:33
For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” Rom10:11
He grants the barren woman a home,Like a joyful mother of children. Praise the LORD!Ps 119:11
Therefore 1Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
2Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; Isa54:1-2

From Barrenness To Fruitfulness

The barren shall be fruitful
The closed womb shall be opened.
The forgotten shall be remembered.
The desert shall blossom.
There shall be a way in the wilderness.

Revival shall replace closed heaven.
Favour shall replace fruitless labour.
Promotion shall displace
retrogression and stagnation.

As Hannah was remembered;
As Abraham was remembered,
As Joseph was remembered,
As Noah was remembered,
As Daniel was remembered,
As David was remembered'
So shall you and I be remembered.

Glory be to the Most High God, Who promises and fulfils, Whose word will not return to Him void. His promises are yea and Amen in Christ Jesus. He the Mediator of the covenant established on better promises. Alleluia!
