The position has been filled.
The vacancy that once existed, erased.
The gap between knowledge and joy, bridged.
Jesus Christ, love’s perfect picture filled my void.

The void that left me empty,
The void that left me without peace,
My life, now complete is dedicated to Him.
I will spend the rest of my days filling a new void,
The longing to know Him more,
The race of perseverance in His name.

I will forever be grateful for my heart’s desire
And the finding of it;
They are one in the same.

He called to me,
Accomplishing the impossible,
Ridding my conscience of my life’s void.
