What Does Love Bring?
What does love bring? Cool breezes, calming thoughts and warm memories.
What does love bring? Constant hope, shared dreams and unexpressed emotions.
What does love bring? Warm cookies, hot cocoa and generous listening.
Love brings to you the gentle touch of your Mother, the firm defender in your Father and the companionship of your family.
Love brings to you your friends and your many joys.
Love brings to you Jesus and the Holy Spirit and the Father unchanged and immutable - the only Source.
Love brings to you all that your heart hopes for and more than you could ever dream. Love brings mercy.
Love brings grace.
Love brings truth.
What could ever be Love’s replacement?
Who could ever match its wonder?
Some have tried. Many found facsimiles. A few created idols.
Yet, through it all Love remains the only constant in God’s universe.
Unfathomed, uninterrupted, and steady - yet reeling through the ebbs and flows of life.
Infinite.
