Our history still reveals a mystery
Through all the 'drama'
I could always depend on you
When my world was hopeless
You would say the words that can get
My soul back in focus

There is no way I can pay you back
But the plan is to show you that I understand
Though the time we spend was gold
Your life, now unfolds a new story
That allows you to experience
Your own glory

I know at times it wasn't easy
You were always committed and even though
We both had a different 'vision'
God's precision was still with us

There were times that we both acted crazy
But I still got to thank God that He made us
Even though life isn't fair
I will always care
