It’s not about you;
In a world which has become so self-centred, the Church has become engrossed with 'Me-ology' a new word, but a fitting description of the body of Christ in general.
Into this destructive arena please allow me to softly blow some truth so that the flame of revival will be once again lit by the unseen hand of the Holy Spirit.

It’s not about 'you'
•Its not about your sin it’s about Gods forgiveness through Christ’s atoning death and resurrection it’s about redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. (Ephesians 1:7)

•Its not about your problems, its about a God who is the answer to your every need according to His riches in Glory by Jesus Christ; Phil 4:19

•Its not about your pain its about His desire to heal you; 3 John 2

•It’s not about your sorrow it’s about His joy that’s unspeakable and full of glory. I Peter 1:8
•Its not about your job its about His great commission, Mark 16:15-18

•Its not about your fear its about His love which cast out all fear; 1 John 4:18

•Its not about your reputation its about serving Him with all humility of mind, and many tears and temptations (Acts 20:19)

•Its not about your failing strength its about His mighty working power in you (Colossians 1:29)

•Its not about your mountain its about His Spirit that removes mountains (Mark 11:23)

•Its not about your weakness its about His strength (Habakkuk 3:19)

•Its not about your riches its about the inheritance as an heir and a joint heir of the kingdom of God in Christ (Romans 8:17)

•Its not about ‘your’ church its about His body (Romans 12:5)

•Its not about your lack its about His provision (Philippians 4:19)

•Its not about your ability its about his awesome, unlimited power that works in you; (Ephesians 3:20)

Its not about you, you may be the centre of your own miniscule little world but Christ is the central figure of eternity past to eternity future.

You do not hold the keys of death and hell, Christ does, and the future is not in your hands, it is safe in the hands of an almighty and everlasting God.

Christ has not abdicated his position as managing director of the universe, he has not stopped being Lord of Lords or King of Kings, Christ still reigns supreme over all.

It’s not about you: it is all about Christ, now there’s a thought worth remembering today or when you next have a pity party or when you feel that God owes you a living...
